What a wonderful, whimsical children’s book. It makes me think of all the winters I had as a kid growing up, playing out in the snow and coming in for a warm cup of hot cocoa. The prose is perfect for young children, and the illustrations bring back great memories. Thanks for the wonderful book!
I read the book to 27 first graders and had their full attention! They were trying to guess the next rhyming word with each page. As we neared the end of the book, one boy was chanting, “please don’t let it be the end,”! They thoroughly enjoyed the poem and the illustrations. I am going to give a copy to our elementary school Spanish teacher. Congratulations on your first book!
